Not Feeling Qualified

Do you feel not qualified for something?

Maybe you don’t feel qualified for the job you have, or someone asked you to do something you know nothing about, but you couldn’t say no. Trust me I understand what you are feeling. I also feel that way a lot!

This blog has been a struggle for me the last few months. I was really excited and motivated to start, but as the months went on, I just would feel lost at what to say and if what I had to say was even important or good enough also, I’m not a great writer or very good at putting my thoughts in to sentences. Even with all those feeling of doubt or not good enough I do believe that God gave me this idea for a reason and a lot of the time he calls the unqualified, just like David he wasn’t qualified for the task God gave him, but God helped him and made him qualified. If we are trying our best and doing God’s work, He will make us qualified.

We have to believe and trust that God works in different ways then we do and that he knows what’s best for us. God calls the unqualified and makes them qualified. In 1st Corithians 1 verses 26-28 says, Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are.

So, this basically tells us that God wants the unqualified because if we were already qualified for everything what would we need God for. We all need to have more faith in God that he will make us qualified. We don’t need to listen to the enemy telling us we are not good enough or that we will never be good, because if we have God, we are good because of him and his grace and mercy each day. No, we will never be perfect, but we should always be striving to be more like Jesus every day. Remember Christians should stand out not look the same as the world. I think we all need this reminder sometimes at least I know I do.

So, the next time you feel not qualified pray to God that he will help guide you and push the enemy out because we are qualified through Gods help!!

As for me I’m planning on getting back into a routine of putting out blog post each week. I truly believe God wants me to write even thought I think it might not be good He will help me and qualify me through Him.
