Guatemala Trip Vol.2 Long Time Coming

Share

These last few weeks have been a lot!!
I have gotten to know so many more great people and I have experienced so much.
So, I have still been going to the school for disability children, and we have had some challenging days. It has been hard, but I would not change anything. The kids there are so sweet and loving that it makes up for the hard parts. I’m so excited to see what is in store for the rest of the month.

God has showed up so much throughout these last few weeks. Before I left people kept telling me about how unsafe and scary it might be, but because of God I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Everyone I met their and all the other places I went to around Guatemala I was completely fine. Now I’m not saying it was all safe and good places to be, but I had peace and faith in God that he would protect and guide me where I need to be. Even here in America we might feel unsafe, but we can’t let that hold us back from doing God’s work and what he had called us to do for him. We have faith and trust Him that we will protect and keep us safe because we are doing what he called us to do.

So, my trip is coming to an end in a few weeks, and I am ready to go home, but I would also like to stay longer. These children have really touched me, and I will miss them so much. Just know if you have ever thought about going on a mission trip just go!! Pray to God and ask him for guidance because wherever you go and how long you go for even if it’s just a week you will be, so blessed just my being a part of the mission which is helping and sharing Gods love with others.

Remember Gods work is always the most important mission, but I pray that you all find your perfect mission for God. Maybe it will be going into the mission field, starting an organization, or just sharing your gifts and talents that God gave you with others. Whatever it is always have faith and trust God because he knows so much more than we ever could, and we will guide you.
